Synopsis of HALABALA Hala Bala, the forest of the lost souls

Inspector Dan, a police detective nicknamed “Land of a Hundred Corpses”, is given a chance to restore his reputation in exchange for returning to work in Bangkok. But this mission may mean walking into hell when he must hunt down Tab Ta Fai, the leader of a perverted gang who escaped from prison and disappeared into the forest of “Halabala”, a forbidden land where no one dares to enter. Under the shadow of the deadly forest, legends whisper of the “Bato”, an ancient cannibal tribe that has been forgotten. Or maybe… they never left. Dan must choose between his duty and the life of Wi, his pregnant wife who is afraid of her new house in the middle of the forest, which may not be the only one for the two of them. Because something is watching and ready to devour.
