แต่อย่างน้อย ๆ จุดที่ดีเด่นใน Ziam ปากกัด ตีนถีบ ก็คือการออกแบบฉากต่อสู้และฉากแอคชัน ที่ถือว่าเป็นการจับจังหวะมวยไทยมาใช้กับการสู้ซอมบี้ ที่เอาเข้าจริง ๆ มันก็ค่อนข้างสาแก่ใจดีอยู่เหมือนกัน ท่วงท่าต่าง ๆ ได้รับการวางบล็อกกิ้งและวางแผนออกมาได้ค่อนข้างลื่นไหลดี ถึงแม้ว่าจะค่อนข้างสะดุดนิดหน่อยกับการเลือกใส่ฉากสโลว์โมชันเข้ามาประกอบอยู่เรื่อย ๆ ก็ตาม แต่ก็ถือว่าเป็นองค์ประกอบที่ค่อนข้างน่าพอใจดี

พาร์ททางการแสดงใน Ziam ปากกัด ตีนถีบ คงจะต้องบอกว่าเป็นหนังที่ใช้ศักยภาพของนักแสดงได้ไม่เต็มกำลังสักเท่าไหร่ ส่วนหนึ่งก็อาจจะเป็นบทหนังที่ไร้มิติและชั้นเชิงที่เพียงพอด้วย ทำให้นักแสดงแทบจะไม่มีช่องว่างให้ได้ปล่อยการแสดงออกมาอย่างที่ควร แต่อย่างน้อย ๆ “หมาก ปริญ” ก็ทำหน้าที่แบกหนังเรื่องนี้เอาไว้ได้ ด้วยลีลาวิชามวยไทยของเขา ที่ต้องยอมรับว่าท่วงท่างานบู๊ของเขาออกมาหนักแน่นและเต็มเหนี่ยวดี แม้ว่าแทบจะไม่ได้มีช่องให้ใช้อินเนอร์ทำการแสดงเท่าไหร่ก็ตาม

ขณะที่ทีมนักแสดงร่วมคนอื่น ๆ ก็แทบจะเหมือนมาเป็นส่วนเสริมให้ครบ ๆ ไป ไม่ว่าจะเป็น “ณิชา ณัฏฐณิชา”, “จอนนี่ แอนโฟเน่”, “พิมพ์ พิมพ์มาดา”, “เจสัน ยัง” หรือ “น้องเวลา วันเวลา” บทบาทของพวกเขาแทบไม่ได้ถูกฝังเอาไว้ให้ผูกพันอยู่กับในหนังเรื่องนี้เลยแม้แต่น้อย ทำได้แค่ส่วนเติมเต็มในองค์ประกอบทางตัวละครได้ครบถ้วนยิ่งขึ้นเท่านั้น นับว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งส่วนที่หนังใช้งานได้อย่างไม่เต็มที่เท่าควร

แต่โดยสรุปแล้ว ก็ต้องยอมรับว่า Ziam ปากกัด ตีนถีบ ได้ก้าวเข้ามาเป็นหนังที่สร้างมาตรฐานของวงการซอมบี้ไทยอีกเรื่องได้อย่างสนใจ แม้ว่ายังมีรายละเอียดอีกมากมายที่ค่อนข้างวางเอาไว้ได้น่าขบคิด ไม่สามารถลงรายละเอียดได้อย่างครบถ้วนเพราะเงื่อนไขเวลาที่จำกัด บทหนังอาจจะไม่มีอะไรใหม่ และไม่สามารถสร้างความผูกพันในตัวละครกับคนดูได้มากนัก แต่ยอมรับงานสร้างค่อนข้างดีอย่างน่าพอใจ โดยเฉพาะลีลาการออกแบบฉากบู๊และการสร้างตัวละครซอมบี้ รวมทั้งโปรดักชันดีไซน์ต่าง ๆ ถือว่าพัฒนาได้แปลกใหม่จากหนังไทยทั่วไปได้อย่างมีนัยยะ

This is the definition that I always repeat throughout watching this movie because this is a production of Kantana, an old production company that has been in the Thai entertainment industry for a long time, and we should be quite familiar with the potential and gestures in the works of this company. In addition, this story has one of the leaders of the company, “Kan Kaljaruek”, sitting in the director’s chair as well, making us have to put up our guard firmly, preparing to face content that inevitably satirizes society and politics.

The various moves are blocked and planned quite smoothly, even though it is a bit hitchhiking with the choice to include slow-motion scenes all the time, but it is considered a fairly satisfying element.

Similarly, the elements of the production and design that this film has created, I dare say that it has come out quite well, even though it is a bit too playful, because in reality, the whole film revolves around scenes in the hospital only. But the design of the zombie characters and the use of CG mixed in is considered a design that almost goes all the way, close to the international standard that we see in foreign content.

The acting part in Ziam Pakkad Tinteep, it must be said that this film does not use the full potential of the actors. One reason may be the script that lacks depth and skill, leaving the actors with almost no space to show off their acting skills. But at least “Mark Prin” carries this film with his Muay Thai style, which we must admit is solid and full of action moves, even though there is hardly any space to use the inner self to act.

While the other supporting actors are almost like additional parts to complete the cast, whether it’s “Nicha Natthanicha”, “Johnny Anfone”, “Pim Pimmada”, “Jason Young” or “Nong Wela Wan Wela”, their roles are not embedded to be tied to the film at all. They only complete the character elements to be more complete. This is another part that the film doesn’t use to its fullest potential.

The script may not have anything new and it cannot create much connection with the characters with the audience. However, the production work is quite satisfactory, especially the style of designing the fight scenes and creating the zombie characters, including the production design. It can be considered a significant development from the general Thai movies.
