And then we come to the conclusion of an important operation after a long story that has been going on for almost 30 years, coming to the 8th installment in ” Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning ” , the important climax of the legendary Hollywood action movie franchise. If we weren’t going to tease that this would be the ending, this is a grand and magnificent conclusion, along with servicing the fans with tears and hearts beating fast at the same time.

After surviving a devastating train accident, Ethan Hunt learns that The Entity is being held aboard an old sunken Russian submarine at the bottom of the ocean. But his nemesis from his past, Gabriel, is also on its trail. It becomes his ultimate mission, one that puts the hope of humanity on the line.

This is another part where “Christopher McQuarrie” sits in the chair to oversee the production because this movie is a continuous filming from the previous part. Even though it’s a movie that makes the studio sweat a lot because the production budget has gone over 400 million dollars, but the result is a closing scene that is done to the point, along with being able to service the fans intensely and penetrates the depths of the audience’s hearts in an amazing way.

To be honest, the highlight of this movie is still the action scenes that are still awesome as usual. Even though it’s not that different from the previous parts, every element that was added in this part is still very well done and impressed the fans very well. It becomes a movie-watching experience in the cinema that is exciting, thrilling, and even makes your heart beat faster without you knowing it because the movie really stimulates emotions well.

In terms of the script, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning may not be a well-rounded script because it is an installment that is like a conclusion. It cannot be denied that the Mission: Impossible franchise has a long story with 8 installments, but in terms of the solidity of the story, the film may not be very profound because, to be honest, this is a film series that we ourselves barely remember the past stories. The cast of actors, both old and new, are as effective in their acting as ever, whether it’s “Tom Cruise”, “Hayley Atwell”, “Ving Rhames” or “Simon Pegg”. Not only that, the audience will enjoy the Easter egg characters from previous parts that make a surprise appearance as well.
